My girlfriends (ghoulfriends for October 31st only) came up with a list of things we could do for a festive gathering. I had so much fun creating with them that I’m sharing our list with you.
9 Fun Things To Do This October 31st
1. Ghouls Night In
Mocktails and Girls Nights with your friends
2. Ghouls Night Out
Group outing with your girls. Make it fun and flirty by heading out in themed costumes (think ‘Hocus Pocus’ trio). The sweater-weather-loving people-watchers will essentially be treated to a Fall fashion show as your squad parades by. I triple dare you. Try Unleashing The Fabulous You.
3. Movie Marathon
Jason lives for now…let’s see what happens the 13th time around in the new release, Halloween Ends.
4. Walk through an illuminated forest
Yes, this is really a thing. Take an immersive, safe, and well-lit stroll off the beaten path. Near Detroit, we have Glenlore Trails.
5. Set your Halloween or Festive Fall Table
Halloween chic…that’s a yes for me. For an alternative to spooky home decor, choose to fall in love with the Autumn colors around you. You can spruce up your home, inside and out, with fabric-wrapped pumpkins, haystacks, door wreaths, etc.
6. Visit a local apple orchard & cider mill
Apple season lasts into November. Pick several to take home from a local orchard. Often, these properties will have a store onsite. Purchasing hot apple cider and a bag of warm cinnamon sugar donuts is a highlight of the season in my book.
7. Skip the grocery store and purchase your pumpkin from a local patch
The thought of cruising along in a hayride, getting safely lost in a corn maze, and walking back to the car with the pumpkin of your choice is giving someone all the Fall-time vibes.
8. Host a daytime Trunk-or-Treat
Coordinate a fun, candy giveaway from the fabulously decorated trunk of your car for neighbors all of ages in your driveway, at a place of worship or business parking lot.
9. Host a virtual party& hire a magician to entertain your guests
Zoom magic shows with safe and silly scares…ain’t nothin’ quite like it.
You can bet that on October 31st I’ll be in one of my favorite TLB lippies.
